Driving Me Crazy

I keep going thru all the "what ifs" if Rob's test comes back bad. Basically if the number is greater than 30%, then there's a high likelihood ICSI with IVF will be probable. However, stupid me Google.d and found out that if the number reaches this level, then you also have a higher risk for M/C and abnormal development of the embryos. In many cases, the sperm might fertilize the egg, but the embryo doesn't develop properly or implant, which I've been concerned about for a while now. I probably won't be able to hold out past Thursday before calling to see if the results are in. This is almost as bad as the 2ww, maybe worse. But at least this month I don't have to go thru a 2ww, I just have to wait for AF to show again. Bleh.

  1. Step away from the Google! That always makes things worse. Just pray and wait for your results. (easier said than done, but still)

  2. Aw, I hope everything comes back good so you can move forward.

My husband was just diagnosed with azoospermia. Zero sperm. We have to wait 3 weeks for the results to come back on his chromosome testing and hormone tests. SUCKS!!

I need to stay away from the google searches too! I don’t know why I torture myself!

  3. Ugh, waiting is so hard. We don't need any more in this crazy journey. I hope you get some good news.

  4. I so hope the results are good. It's impossible not to imagine the worst. I do it to try to prepare myself but that doesn't really work either. I can't delude myself into thinking things will be great like some people can so I've found the best way for me to cope is to try to forget about it completely. It's hard but I feel like I have no other choice. Try to think about other things in the meantime. Work, TV, friends, whatever it takes to avoid too much downtime. Waiting for results like this is a special kind of torture, but try not to let the days go by without some distraction and enjoyment.

  5. Stay away from "Dr. Google," stay away! Know that I yell this for myself too. The waiting is so tough - know my thoughts are with you and I'm hoping for good results!!

  6. No. More. GOOGLE.
I'm totally guilty of it too... even about non-if things. It's a bad, bad habit, lol.
