Stims

So I've only been on Menopur and Bravelle for 2 days and already I feel like crap. Everyday like clockwork I've gotten a headache that will not go away. Yesterday AF showed with a fury and taking Tylenol doesn't help with my cramps. So needless to say I skipped school yesterday, stayed in bed all day, and tried to get as much sleep as I could. I feel a little bit better today. In the morning I go in for an U/S check and B/W to check my Estradiol levels. I guess I'll get a call letting me know what dose my RE wants me to take for the next few days after my appt. I am counting the days down one by one until my ER. Hoping for lots of good follies in the coming days! I'm praying that things continue to go smoothly and I won't get delayed any because of lack of growth or suppression issues. So far so good.

  1. Ha, well this answers my question. I just sent you an email asking how the stims were treating you... I'm sorry to hear they're not playing nice. =(

But it'll all be worth it in a few weeks!

    Hang in there.

  3. Ugh, that sounds terrible! I hope you feel better soon and I'm glad you took a day off. It's no fun trying to do things when you feel like crap. I second what Melissa said. Even though it sucks now, the final goal will be worth it! It's hard in the midst of it though i'm sure.

  4. Sorry stims are being such a pain. I had worse side effects from BCPs and Lupron than with stims. Once Lupron was reduced, I barely had any side effects. Hopefully you will feel better soon. Looking forward to your ER. I'm having mine tomorrow!

  5. The stims can suck, but I am glad you are feeling better. Just remember to take it one day at a time. And even if you are delayed, remember that it is still ok, your RE is just making sure your cycle is absolutely perfect for growing those eggs. Remember I was delayed over a week... and I was devastated at the time. I'm sure my end result would not have been the same without the delay.
